Questions

Which apps can I import a chat from?

WhatsApp (Android and iPhone), Telegram (on a computer, Telegram Desktop), Messenger and Instagram (Meta’s data download), Viber, and iMessage (through iMazing). The import screen shows the steps for each.

Is the clone a real person?

No. The clone is an AI that imitates how that person wrote. Every chat is marked as AI, and asked whether it is an AI, the clone always says it is.

Where are my chats?

The export is read on your device, and clones and messages are encrypted there; the web app also keeps an encrypted copy on our server. For the clone to answer, parts of the chat are sent to AI providers. The Privacy Policy describes all of it.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Settings → Account → Plan and billing. The subscription runs to the end of the period paid for and is not charged again. A plan bought in the App Store or Google Play is also cancelled in the store’s settings.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Account → Delete account, in the app or in a browser. Everything about it is on the Delete your account and data page.
